Meet the Team

Josiah founded Nido in 2026, built around a simple philosophy: "do good work, always." This singular philosophy serves as the foundation for every engagement, ensuring clients' applications and environments receive the highest degree of attention to detail and thoroughness they deserve. As CHO, Josiah focuses on developing fundamentals-driven testing methodologies paired with innovative automation workflows to deliver meaningful results to clients of all shapes and sizes.

Prior to founding Nido, Josiah got his start at NetSPI, where he led or oversaw over 250 penetration testing engagements for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small startups. In addition to testing, Josiah was a member of the NetSPI University instructor team, helping train over 60 junior penetration testers in the fundamentals of web application security. After NetSPI, Josiah joined Inspectiv, where he helped develop and refine their web application, network, and cloud service offerings while also supporting their managed bug bounty service.

Josiah holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota (Roll Cobbs!). He also proudly served seven years in the Minnesota Air National Guard as a Command Post Controller and NCO in Charge of Reporting.

Outside of Nido, Josiah spends his free time being cautiously optimistic about all things Minnesota sports, attempting to parse purple in the latest World of Warcraft raid, throwing weights around at his local CrossFit gym, and spoiling his fur-children.
