Introducing Nido

July 9, 2026

Today I am extremely proud to announce the launch of Nido, the last pen testing partner you'll ever need.

The Last?

You read that right. Over the past couple of years, I've worked with a large number of clients who were dissatisfied with their existing pen test vendor for a variety of reasons:

  • Reported vulnerabilities didn't actually prove the vulnerability or demonstrate its impact.
  • The final report was just a rebranded Nessus scan.
  • Known issues were missed or overlooked.
  • AI-hallucinated information and artifacts ended up in the final deliverables.

These issues are not unique to any one pen testing company, and are often the result of a "number-must-go-up" mindset that drives every decision and action at these firms.

Motivation

It was these conversations with clients that led me to start Nido. I wanted to guarantee that every organization received the highest-quality test. I wanted clients to be blown away by the results.

North Star

That drive is ultimately captured in Nido's #1 guiding principle: "do good work, always". In practice, that means:

  • Thoroughly mapping every application and environment to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Taking a balanced approach that blends automated tooling with deep manual testing by an actual human to ensure every result is validated.
  • Proving every finding with hands-on-keyboard reproduction steps and a clear demonstration of how it affects your business.
  • Working in tandem with your team across the full engagement lifecycle, from the first kickoff call to the post-assessment results discussion. This includes a dedicated Slack channel with daily testing updates from the tester and real-time communication whenever you need it.

That is why I am confident that Nido will be the last pen testing partner you'll ever need.
